The energetic 22-year-old Paseka Tlali, a motivational speaker, model and entrepreneur, hosted the Moment of Inspiration Seminar, the second one at Mayibuye Center in Kimberley.

Seventy young people attended the seminar on Saturday, 24 June. The theme was “We cannot build a future for the youth, but we can build the youth for the future.”

The entrepreneur aims to inspire, stimulate imagination, provide accurate information, share life-motivating experiences, reduce prejudices, engage diverse masses and create knowledge platforms.

Tlali is a Formal Wear Activist, founder and director of Creative Art Hub and Urmodel Modelling Agency.

He partnered with fellow motivational speaker, author Tshepo Gaerupi and Chumile Albanie, a psychologist and pastor.

The purpose-driven youth explained, “I coach entrepreneurs, individuals and organizations on branding. I run a modeling agency and am passionate about adding value, empowering, motivating and inspiring others. I love dressing in suits, looking professional and as presentable as I possibly can be.”

Tlali said he values education and continuously learns new ways and intends to further his studies.

Gaerupi, who is studying towards a Communication Science qualification, shared his passion for youth empowerment and development. The Author advised the youth to write short notes daily. He said his first book, MARAPO A TLHOGO, is inspired by the struggles and obstacles he had to overcome.

“I would like to encourage young people who want to follow a career in writing to research their subject of interest. Tell your stories in writing since it allows you to express yourself and it is advisable to tell your dreams before it is too late”, he informed.

Albanie spoke about mental wellness and career choices. She also mentioned workplace safety and provided guidelines on preventing accidents and health issues.

In his final remarks, Paseka thanked everyone for their support and invited youth to join his programmes for more information and self-empowerment.
