NC: DEBEN SAPS ARREST 68 YEAR OLD MALE FOR POSSESSION OF UNLICENSED FIREARM AND AMMUNITION

The District Commissioner of JTG, Major General Keagekae Besnaar  commended  the team work executed by Deben SAPS , the Community and Ger Cor security company.

On 2023-09-27 members on duty followed up information that led to the arrest of a 68 year old male.

The SAPS members in conjunction with Ger -Cor security company in Deben followed up on information provided by the community which led to the apprehension and arrest of the suspect  for being in possession of an unlicensed  rifle.

During the arrest 30 live rounds of  ammunition and one magazine were also seized.

The Station Commander of Deben,  Captain Letsapa appreciated the community and urged them to continue being the eyes and ears of the police.
