NC: THE SAPS VEHICLE CRIME INVESTIGATION UNIT REQUEST PUBLIC ASSISTANCE IN TRACING A PERSON OF INTEREST
Kimberley- 04 December 2023: The Kimberley Vehicle Crime Investigating Unit requests the assistance of the public in tracing, 37-year-old Stephen Mundari, a Zimbabwean national, who can assist with the investigation of a number of vehicle theft cases.
He is believed to be in Cape Town.
It is alleged that members of the public who sell their vehicles on social media are approached by a suspect from Kimberley to view the vehicles.
A decoy payment is allegedly made to the seller who would hand over the vehicle after receiving a payment notification on their phone.
