DAYTIME WATER SUPPLY & NIGHTLY INTERRUPTIONS FROM TODAY, TUESDAY 28 NOV 2023 TO SATURDAY, 02 DEC 2023

The Sol Plaatje Municipality wishes to inform all residents of the water supply interruptions that will be effected from today, 28 November 2023 until Saturday, 02 December 2023; set timeframe – 13h00 to 16h00.

Supply will be restored between 16h00 and 19h00.

Nightly Water Interruption

The Nightly Water Interruption will remain in effect from 19h00 until 05h00.

This measure is being undertaken to allow our dams at Newton Reservoirs to fill up and reach supply normality ahead of the festive season.

Notably, there has been an improvement from early hours of this morning with supply restored to a vast majority of areas. Localities that remain affected are those encountering burst pipes. Our Waterworks teams have been dispatched to attend to all reported cases.

We apologise for the inconvenience and hardships caused by the current interruptions. We are pleading for your patience and cooperation.
