Kgosi Galeshewe Athletics Club claimed the prestigious “Team of the Year ” award at the Griqualand West sports gala which was held at the SAPS Gymnasium in Kimberley last week.
This accolade is a testament to the club’s rapid rise in the athletic scene, especially considering that it is merely two years old.
Thato Setlhoho, the chairperson of Kgosi Galeshewe Athletics Club, expressed immense pride and gratitude for the recognition. “Such a big accolade at such an early stage of our journey is a big morale booster for our club and sponsors,” Setlhoho remarked.
Setlhoho emphasized the collective effort that propelled the Kgosi Galeshewe Athletics Club to this remarkable achievement. “The success of our club in 2023 is the result of many men and women who worked tirelessly to ensure that we are a brand that people can strongly relate to and trust.
We are willing to support should an opportunity arise,” Setlhoho added. This acknowledgment highlights the collaborative spirit that has fueled the club’s success and sets a foundation for future growth and accomplishment.
