His Grace Church’s revival mends families

His Grace Tabernacle Church’s revival session at the Kimberley City hall last weekend under the theme “Rebuilding broken walls” attracted believers from as far as the Free State, Eastern Cape, Gauteng and Swaziland.
The revival started on Friday evening with an intercession by various church leaders. According to the resident steward at His Grace Tabernacle, Pastor Thandi Dwane, the theme is intended to mend all broken family relationships, marriages and life impediments.
The gathering was divided into two sessions: the youth session which was held during the day and a reverberating evening session of praise and worship.
The opening scene of the revival session was staged by the children who presented a well-choreographed piece which had the parents’ faces light up and beam with pride and joy.
It was a spectacular scene to witness each Psalmist displaying their talent to praise God and mend broken walls. Psalmist Chumani (Crown Gospel award winner), Zandile Dwane, Buhle Thela (from Swaziland) and Wendy Lushabe who transformed the hall into a haven.
Believers were taken to another level by Psalmist Virginia Ntsako who rendered her items in Xitsonga. Women and children knelt and attempted to do the Xibelani, a Xitsonga traditional dance.
Pastor Phillip Maluleke led the youth session. The meeting enabled youngsters to drink from each other’s well. Various topics were discussed, including social media. Maluleke warned the youth to be careful when using social media platforms because they won’t have time to study God’s word. He encouraged them not to lose hope “because hope is an opportunity to mend what is broken.”
The vibrant and energetic Pastor delivered the word to well-nourished hearts.
The revival ended on Sunday morning after the morning service.
