The Roodepan SAPS is investigating an inquest into the death of Richard Steenkamp (73) who went missing in Roodepan on Friday, 16 August 2024.
On Wednesday, 04 September 2024 at about 10:00 the body of Steenkamp was found in the veld on a farm near Roodepan by an employee.
His body was identified by his family, andno foul play is suspected at this stage. However, an autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death.
